Ashley Academy’s Cooking Classics is a 25th Anniversary community cookbook created by Ashley Academy AAAPT in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Copyright 2004 by Morris Press Cookbooks. The cookbook includes recipes contributed by Ashley Academy families, faculty and staff, along with school-history material. A history page notes that Ashley Academy was founded in 1979 by Janine and Dean Wilson to provide challenging educational programs for bright and gifted children.

Sections include appetizers and beverages, soups and salads, breads and rolls, vegetables and side dishes, main dishes, desserts, cookies and candy, and “This & That.” Named contributors throughout add interest for Johnson City local and family-history research.

There is a handwritten gift inscription on the title page dated Valentine’s Day 2004. Please see photographs for the inscription and overall condition.
